‘Sicario: Day of Soldado’ Director Stefano Sollima on How the Franchise is Just Like the ‘Alien’ Series
Chances are, if you've seen Denis Villeneuve 's 2015 thriller " Sicario ," you were riveted. The tale of a morally compromised CIA agent ( Josh Brolin ), who teams with a Mexican associate ( Benicio del Toro ) and a plucky young agent ( Emily Blunt ) following some gruesome murders on this side of the border, it was the kind of stark, uncompromising movie that created a nearly unbearable level of tension and suspense with each passing moment.
